Ok, where do I even start with this lovely. It was baby pooh orange with side gold plastic shower door windows and branches nailed and glued to the walls in every room! We are talking ugly here. The best feature of the entry was the stone patio that we matched and enlarged. The original idea was to remodel and sell this home…until, I discovered the neighborhood. We can visit a golf course, a lake, a ski slope and the most charming camp in the world all using a golf cart. Mr. P said he can go to five restaurants and two pubs all in the golf cart—how great is that! I am posting this renovation again because many of you may have missed this one. Let’s take a look at the outside today. Happy house touring.

You’ve done a spectacular job on the exterior Lissy. Absolutely love the paint color of the body with the crisp white door and trim. Now this is a “House Crush”!!!
Thank you Victoria! It was renovated in 3 stages when we decided to keep it.

Love your renovation!!!! What was your exterior paint color? Looks so pretty!
I love Cashiers! Your house is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to see more pictures. We used to take our kids to High Hampton every summer for a week. ❤️
Vicky, Thank you! This place is magical.

Love your home … what is the amazing exterior paint color?
Jeanie, The paint color on the body of the house is a Cabot stain made into a paint by Ben Moore.
The color is Burnt Hickory, the trim color is Ben Moore Bone White. Hope this helps.

What vision! Best I can do is collect this stuff in hopes one day I find something and think, I know what to do! Thank you for the inspiration!
Kolleen, Thank you so much! Just check Pinterest or Instagram for ideas for all your lovely things.
Just find and image you love and go for it.

Beautiful job, I’m glad you decided to keep it. I’ve been a house painter for over 40 yrs. Love the dark grayish/brown body, and you learned not to use glaring white on trim. Bone White was a great choice. White would jump out and that’s all you’d notice. Only other white I use is Sail Cloth, but Bone goes perfectly with your scheme.
The Dutch door is so wonderful! Do you mind sharing your source or company name/style?
Amy, The doors and Dutch doors are from Rogue Valley Doors. The front door is oversized to help get furniture in.
