House Crush N° 29

stone entry path to gray cottage home
Welcome!

WThis mountain house and garden just ooze charm. I’ve had a crush on this house for a while now, but I’ve been puzzled by how to photograph it–and do it justice. A lot of the charm lies in the surrounding garden and the location. It over looks a lake and has an amazing mountain view that can only be viewed by going into the house or onto the private decks. I had to photograph the crush from the street, so that view was not available to me. The house sits very close to the road and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and lovely places to sit and relax. I can imagine having a hard day, coming home to this little charmer, and just walking through the gardens or having a glass of wine on the deck. The pressures of the day would just melt away!

This house also has the added bonus of a guest house with the same view and relaxing gardens to admire. There is a little glimpse of the guest house through the rustic locus rail fence and gate next to the welcoming lantern leading to the private guest house. Enjoy a visual trip to the mountains today with this house crush—take a deep breath and relax!
