The Season has officially begun here in Cashiers, North Carolina with the opening of the newly remodeled Cornucopia Restaurant. The front porch is enclosed and houses the dining area and eat-in bar. A wall of glass and bark lets the beautiful mountain light come shining in and highlights the zinc bar and glassware. The wood floor painted with a large diamond design expands the space beautifully. New Executive Chef Dean Neff, formerly of Tybee Island, Georgia, comes to Cornucopia from Five & Ten restaurant in Athens, Georgia where he worked with Chef Hugh Acheson. Nef created a new menu to tempt your taste buds. The Cornucopia Bottle Shop is right next door to the restaurant and is under the management of the very knowledgeable Jessica Gualano. Hurry on up here and enjoy the beautiful mountains.
