Guest House Crush!

Sea Island guest house
I could live in this guest house.

How about escaping your quarantined house today for a little trip to some favorite guests houses of mine. I love a charming guest house—sometimes more than the ‘Big’ house. Tiny houses—well, not really. I could move right into a few of these houses and be happy as a clam! Some are over garages, some are free-standing but they all are magical places that any guest would love to stay in. Grab your Quarantini and enjoy!

Quarantini—It’s just a regular martini, but you enjoy it alone in your house.

  1. I love guest cottages too! They are soooo charming! Question? Why is one of the cottages called a Tabby Cottage?

    1. Cathy, Great question! It is the name for the building material made of cement and seashells. Tabby is used a lot to build homes near the beach. It was always at hand and easy to use. Sometimes the shells are crushed and sometimes they are used whole.
