The Library Kitchen and Bar is the perfect place to start your date night. Date night is a must in the Parker household with Mr. P traveling all of the time and me working on the blog or another house renovation or restoration. This charming restaurant is located in Sapphire Valley in a restored historic building. The colorful art instillation is set of by the white walls and antique copper pots that seem to float from the beams. The food is the culinary creation of chef Johannes Klapdohr who focuses on a seasonal menu with the freshest local and most flavorful ingredients. They have small plates or main plates which encourages you to try a little bite of it all. They live up to their motto…’You’re sure to find our restaurant easy to visit and hard to leave.’ Make reservations for your Date Night—you will LOVE it!

We love The Library and it is one of favorite places to eat. The building is charming and the food is great! They also bring your check tucked in a library card pocket inside of a book. Hope to go there again soon!
Cathy, I love signing the library books when you leave—such a charming idea!
