House Crush N°44—Welcome Inside

beautiful mountain house
Welcome. The creams, corals, and greens balance out the space and add interest. I always love a little mix.

House Crush part two—the interior is just as beautiful as the exterior! A Designer who loves color owns this house. Patterns, textures, and colors warm the whole house and reflect the owner’s personality. Good design always reflects the passions and personality of the owner.

The interior is timeless, classic, and creative at the same time. Neutrals are used in upholstery and rugs and then accented with corals, greens, and a mix of blues to bring it all to life. Subtle textures balance out the mix and create interest and warmth.

Have a look around and gather a few design ideas for your own home. If  you missed last week’s post, the link is here.

stair runner
I am crushing over this Dash & Albert stair runner.

stone fireplace
A lovely stone fireplace welcomes you inside.

warm kitchen
A huge family kitchen sets the scene for entertaining. The copper pendant lights are beautiful.

old barn beams
These old barn beams anchor the island and add character.

wall sconce.
This sconce is a favorite of mine. Notice the English wood knobs on the cabinets. The owner has collected them for years.

coral table
The coral is repeated in the dining area and on the woven rug found locally.

window decor
How charming—add glass shelves and a collection in the window. I’m so stealing this idea.

open floor plan
This open floor plan leads back into the living area.

old beams
I beam details are beautiful. The owner says they hide small presents in the openings for the family!

grill kitchen
The second prep kitchen contains extra appliances and storage for entertaining.

paris flea market
These pantry door are from Helen Ballard’s estate sale in Atlanta—see my post on it here ‘Paris Flee Market in Atlanta.’

2 dryers
The first floor laundry contains two dryers—no waiting!

sweet mirror
This lovely bathroom mirror originally belonged to the owner’s mother—so sweet.
