# Worth It!

stone edging and wall, stone steps
The process begins.

Happy Friday! It’s a truly a happy day around here. More stone work is happening. I LOVE stone work. I am the only woman I know that asks for stone walls, patios or huge landscaping rocks for holidays. The old driveway edging has been removed—it was totally rotten—and new stone edging is being installed. Beautiful, large stepping stones are going in the back garden pathway leading to the new walled garden and fire pit area. The drive will be sealed and gravel will be imbedded into the existing drive. I have no idea how they do the gravel part—hope it is fast. The stone mason is Stacy Dillard. He is a true Master and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Thank you, Stacy, for the beautiful job.

I love the sound of a cement mixer.

This stone mason is a master!

Janie and Gracie are trying out the new stepping stones—they hate wet grass!

The new courtyard garden
This wall was built by the same stone mason.

The stone back wall is his work.

The rustic fireplace is another beautiful example of his craftsmanship.
