What a wonderful day—or week it was. All of these beautiful flowers are from a recent Savannah wedding and are the work of the extremely talented and creative Mario Kato of Kato Floral Designs.
Kato created a feast for the eyes and the senses. Gorgeous, abundant arrangements of roses, peonies, hydrangea, sweet peas, phlox and magnolia delighted attendees at the elegant festivities.
The Bridesmaids luncheon at The Olde Pink House included lavender and purples to coordinate with the deep aubergine walls; the rehearsal dinner flowers at Garibaldi’s were white hydrangea and magnolia leaves in tall cylinders and low round vases, the flowers for the ceremony at St. John the Baptist Cathedral featured creams and blush pinks; and the Savannah Yacht Club was festooned with a ceiling tent of tulle, in addition to the magnificent arrangements that filled the room and perfumed the air.
If you ever need flowers for any occasion in Savannah I give Maria Kato my highest recommendation … and tell her Lissy Parker sent you. She is truly amazing!
