House Crush today is one of the most elegant and beautiful homes I have ever seen. The Spanish style home sits high on a hill overlooking a flowing creek and a waterfall.
The stucco-walled entry features a stunning cartouche that the owner found on the property during renovations—how perfect is that! Ivy, boxwood, ferns and grasses fill the shady gardens surrounding the home. I just love a shady garden.
Beautiful stucco stairs and walls surround the gardens and lead to the stunning entry garden and arched iron entry door. Notice the wonderful horizontal detail on the shutters and simple iron shutter dogs. More iron is featured on the lanterns and rails that lead you down the stone paths and through the charming gardens.
One of my favorite details is the wooden ‘awnings’ that cover the side windows topped by tile roofs—what wonderful attention to detail!
Enjoy a little tour around this elegant home with me.

One of the many pretty homes & gardens down the street from our condo. Love your up close photos, thanks for sharing, Lissy! One of the most charming garages ever!
Cindy, I love the homeowner too, I am glad we are neighbors.
