House Crush N° 35

house crush
Down the long drive is a beautiful surprise!

Down this meandering drive lined with boxwood, hydrangea, rhododendron and ferns sits the most charming House Crush. The cedar shake cottage has a lovely copper-roofed front entry flanked by beautiful lanterns and huge hydrangea—I love the planters. Inside, doorways and ceilings featuring old salvaged beams accent ship lap walls. The beautiful home belongs to Francie Hargrove and features her comfortable and stylish mountain decor. This House Crush was also spotlighted on the blog Wednesday featuring a dinner she hosted with James Farmer. Have a little look around and gather inspiring ideas for your house.

  2. Thank you for sharing this home with us. It is perfect. There is only one problem, I would love to see the rest of the home!!

    1. Jodi, The house color is a Cabot stain made into a paint by Ben Moore. The color is Burnt Hickory. The trim color is also by Ben Moore and is called Bone White. I hope this helps you in your color selection.

    1. Deanne, The colors she chose were the same as mine. Burnt Hickory by Cabot-Made into paint by Ben Moore and bone White from Ben Moore for the trim. I hope this helps you.

        1. Patty, I will contact the homeowner to find out the color. The body of the house is Burnt Hickory and the trim is Bone White. All Ben Moore—the Burnt Hickory is a Cabot stain mixed as a paint by Ben Moore.
