The unpacking of the ‘mystery’ boxes from my move has brought several happy surprises. Long forgotten architectural pieces, shells from my husband and sons diving trips, candles and even small china treasures.
I surveyed the house and decided the living room coffee table needed a new look—what a great place to use my new finds. Something bright and happy was what I wanted!
I chose a light blue plaster medallion purchase years ago from Erika Reade for the bottom shelf and several books featuring garden themes or covers in shades of pink and blue. Candles are always a good idea—this one is from Nest and called Bamboo.
I added a few miniature limelight hydrangea form the garden along with a new John Derian tray Mr.P found in NYC … the man knows his gifts.
A small gold heart and an ice bucket with a bottle of pink champagne added the finishing touches. Champagne is always a good idea!
