I have this dream of adding a little gazebo to my landscape. I have a few really great locations to choose from in my garden. My first thought was to put it in the front entry corner near the gravel road for a great view of the mountains and valley below. Then I realized the front corner near the drive has a beautiful orange and pink sunset view—what’s a girl to do! Maybe I need two gazebos in the front to balance the front garden. I could also put a small gazebo in the new side garden before we plant anything this spring. We cleared this new area of stumps, brush, rocks, and dead trees for the new office, grill kitchen, garage and entertaining porch. I think it should be rustic and charming—decisions, decisions! Here are a few of the gazebos that make my heart sing. Let me know if one strikes your fancy!

Or, maybe a version of Helen Ballard Weeks hen house.

gazebo tunnel
This gazebo tunnel is a great idea—I already have the laurel branches.

Here is one Keven Hawkins designed for the garden.

The laurel has been delivered and is all ready to go.

I am crazy for this little garden gazebo.

Think the gazebo will add to the Parker Inn and Spa, so hope it will be completed and welcome me with a tall glass of lemonade and cheese straws when I come for my reservations in August! Of course I’m game to visit sooner.
