Friday Flowers—more Birthday bunches of Tithonia

Ironstone and Tithonia

WWhat a lucky girl I am—even more birthday flowers! Today’s Friday Flowers are these luscious Tithonia or Mexican Sunflower. They range in color from fiery orange to brilliant red. They can grow up to six feet tall and the three-inch flowers are very striking in contrast to the dark green foliage. Birds love them and they are a particular favorite of the Monarch butterfly. These little lovelies look great in the Ironstone pitcher in the middle of my kitchen island. If you would like to grow a few click here for more info. Plant a few and get ready for a big show.
