Graduation and the O. Henry

Beautiful courtyard in the center of the O. Henry

WRecently we attended graduation at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. It was an exciting and inspiring day for the graduates and their guests. The ceremony was at 9:00AM on a beautiful Saturday morning, so we needed to go on Friday and stay close by—I mean, who has graduation at 9:00AM? The great news was we discovered the O. Henry Hotel. We had stayed at the sister hotel, The Proximity, a few years ago because the O. Henry was booked—now I  know why. The Proximity is as sleek and simple as the O. Henry is charming and elegant. The service is excellent and the O. Henry offers the best food in Greensboro at the Green Valley Grill located inside the hotel. We ate every meal there—and made a special trip back just for lunch. They even have a London Taxi to take you anywhere your heart desires.

The O. Henry is a delightful destination. I love their tagline: Locally Owned, Passionately Run with Gracious Hospitality. It’s true.
