Up the Garden Path …

EEnchanting—is the best word to describe this lovely garden that just happens to be in my new neighborhood. The owner and head gardener gave my garden club a private tour. Ryan Gainey of Atlanta is the designer. The garden is surrounded by forest and has an amazing view of the sheer rock face of Old Bald Mountain.

Our guides took us along the woodland walk full of native and endangered plants and flowers and pointed out new surprises around each corner. The path wanders beside a waterfall, bubbling fountains, rock walls, fruit trees and even a stumpery in the making. Here is a glimpse into the garden and all of its many wonders.

If you need a little more of this beautiful garden, visit it in person. The garden is on the Joy Garden Tour here in Cashiers July 15-17.

  1. What an incredible garden – would love to see in person! Can’t get over the stone, and the wisteria around the garage is perfection! Hope you’re having a great weekend and enjoying cooler temperatures than we are!

  2. In love with the Fairy Wands and I miss all my Baptisia I left behind in Ohio, one of my happy plants…..
