Oh, I LOVE a good project! The laundry room is getting a fresh new look for the New Year. Pink says elegant, strength and friendship—what a perfect choice for my laundry room makeover. I have been looking for the perfect pink…not too Pepto and not too peach, I found it in Benjamin Moore’s ‘Tissue Pink.’ Next, a fabric to skirt the cabinets and maybe a valance for the window. I found a rug on Instagram and have called Myers in Atlanta for a sample…thanks MaryOrin. At the last minute I ask the guys to paint stripes on the ceiling—told them not to hate me. My excuse was that I was sick with that horrible cold thing and forgot to tell them. I even painted the inside of the cabinets and the closet…well, the guys did. I also decided to repair and repaint the stairs too—when the workers are here get it all done. Check back soon for the finished project—Barbie would be proud!
