Drama in the Powder Room

half bath remodel
Here we go with the Drama—thank you Erika Reade!

It’s a half bath—the perfect opportunity to have some fun and take a little risk. Let your creative dreams come true with paint, wallpaper or anything else you might dream of. Half baths are tiny…so let your imagination run wild. Splurge on expensive materials like mirrors, wallpaper or lighting without spending a bundle. I am going to the dark side with —Benjamin Moore ‘Witching Hour’ trimmed with classic ‘Ivory White.’ Upgrade your mirror to your heart’s delight. Erika Reade found this Louis Philippe small mirror at Scott’s in Atlanta. The dump sink was a Boxwoods find from France. Gold tulip sconces from Visual comfort flank the sink and provide just enough light to check your makeup. Now i just need something to reflect in the mirror—more shopping required.

I chose Witching Hour and then found it was on the same card as my hall paint—Palladian blue!

Wow—that makes a statement.
