I am in such a fantastic mood today because we are finally getting the new floors in the bedroom and the pantry-flower room shelving finished. My carpenter was available, so let the shelving begin. I measured all of the vases, picked my shelving, drew the curved bracket and decided on the paint. I almost went with the green background but decided to use my classic Ben Moore 925 to lighten the space. Bunny Williams pagodas flank the sink with just enough space for soap, hand cream and cleaning brushes. Flower essentials are all hidden in the drawers and cabinets below. Pretty vases and baskets fill the space and a Suzanne Kesler grape harvesting basket holds small baskets ready to be filled. A scalloped rug is on the way, and I am looking for a charming chair for the corner. Maybe I need to move my flower books to the top shelves and have a secret hide-a-way! Check back for more updates—let me know if you think of a chair that would be perfect for my new space.
