Today’s house is a Highlands Classic. This one is crazy charming, and it’s flat out Mr.’P’s all-time favorite! Sometimes we just drive by to take in the details of this quintessential mountain home. Built in 1915, it remains everything a mountain house should be!
The casement windows with the tiny windowpanes and the hand-cut, cedar-shake siding are just too charming for words. The house sits high on a hill surrounded by lush green gardens and overlooks the town of Highlands.
The home features a spring house and a playhouse (or ‘bunkie’) for the kiddos. A friend gave me a call to say it was for sale, and I am thrilled to share the photos with you. Jody Lovell of Sotheby’s in Highlands has it listed—click here to view the details. This is a special House Crush for me, and I hope you enjoy the tour!
