Dark, cramped and dysfunctional is the only way to describe the old closet. Both sets of drawers were installed on my side of the closet so most of my clothes were on Mr.P’s side—Uggg. I found shoes I forgot that I had under the bottom shelf along with lots of other treasures. I started to save the best pieces but soon realized it was best to start from scratch and get it right. New recessed lighting was installed to brighten the whole area and the old stained and discolored carpet went to visit the dumpster. New wood flooring left over from my last job will be installed and painted white. Myers Carpeting in Atlanta is looking for another piece of Blue Leopard carpeting to make an area rug…a much better idea with small puppies. One wall will be all shelving for my shoe and purse problem and the other side will be all hanging clothes with plenty of long hanging space—I’m 5’10”. The guys are working fast so check back soon for an update.
