Cutest Little Greenhouse!

Greenhouse in Cashiers
My cute little cedar greenhouse is almost ready!

The greenhouse ✔️. I love it when I can check off a photo from my vision board! The stone patio is still in progress as are the shelving and planters for the patio surrounding the greenhouse. I am hoping to move some of Mr.P’s grills off the deck and onto the new patio—he has three grills and a griddle now. The new surrounding gardens will be wildflowers and a small path leading to the back garden. That is the plan…but I have been known to change my mind. We all need a little happy project for the Summer garden right about now. I’m taking my inspiration from Boxwoods creativity and looking for projects to make my home more functional and beautiful.

Gardening relieves stress, is an amazing workout, provides delicious food and you get to enjoy all of the healthy benefits—win, win!

Ps…I still need beautiful containers and a ridge rail.

Leveling is always necessary in the mountains.

We will have a small gravel patio too.

I love how they put the ‘puzzle’ of stone together.

Think I will reclaim my potting shed soon…more gravel coming soon.

Here we go with cedar siding for the greenhouse.

There will be shelves inside, too.

Hoping a few grills will move here, too.

I have antique planters and an old tub for more plants—need a ridge rail too.

  1. Just found you!! I have the same greenhouse! She got built in June so didn’t use her for getting seeds going, but am about to get perennials going to plant this fall. Live in the middle of Wisconsin. So glad I “found “ your site.

    1. Maria, Welcome! I love my little greenhouse and plan to keep my lemon and lime trees in there for winter.
I love in the NC mountains at 4,ooo ft. I want to start seeds next spring too. Let me know what you plant
      nest year.
