Welcome to Savannah—hope you packed to stay a while. I love a white house. White houses look fresh and cool. We were back in Savannah for a few days and decided to look for a few hidden gems for all of you. This stunner just off Victory Drive fit the bill—white, lush and jaw dropping. I love the double stair entry…take your time and enjoy the view. Lush gardens surround the whole corner lot and mature trees shade from the Summer sun. Imagine having coffee or cocktails on one of those verandas overlooking the fountain and garden. They have painted the veranda ceilings traditional ‘haint’ blue to keep the evil sprits away—also the bugs. The stair railings surrounding the entry all look original along with the planters atop the columns. Imagine a wedding in this wonderful home—perfection! I wonder if the roof top rail hides a secret porch—maybe overlooking the city!
