Spring Break—Savannah

savannah Victory drive
Back to downtown Savannah for this trip.

Between Savannah’s downtown district and Isle of Hope is another little jewel that many people don’t know about—the number streets and Victory Drive. Live Oaks and lush landscaping line the streets in this park like area. I just love it when all of the streets are filled with houses built in different eras. Large corner homes, bungalows and small cottages fill the neighborhood and inspire creativity. Sidewalks invite visits and large porches are featured on every home. I love all of the corner porches—imagine coffee or cocktails on draped porches…screened, of course. The next time you visit Savannah take a little time to explore the number streets—you might just fall in love with one.
