House Crush—N°70, Savannah

Stop the car!

Hidden down a narrow lane and landscaped to perfection this Crush took my breath away…wow, just says it all. The large corbels, classic white paint, side entry, red-domed standing seam red roof, brick columns…charming. Every detail is perfection. Those corbels anchor the red roof and create a large overhang just perfect for hot summer days—and are so welcoming. The plantings are all palms and tropicals that are perfect for Savannah’s weather. This homeowner must be a  lovely and delightful person—and I love her style. I would love to be a guest at the next cocktail party—call me!

Those Corbels are glorious.

Bricks and palms line the street.

Hate the column was down.

The rail was the perfect compliment to the corbels.

Perfection.

Black and white—love the rail top.

Sorry for the angle—large truck in the drive.

A little closer look at those magnificent corbels.
