Snow for Christmas!

snow for Christmas
We woke up to snow!

Yes, it was a very white Christmas in Highlands and Cashiers, North Carolina this year…it even snowed again on New Year’s Day. These photos are early on Christmas morning, and it continued to snow all day. The little ski slope near me had about 5 inches of snow and more is predicted this week—I love snow! If you need a snow play day just check the weather for snow and head up to the mountains to enjoy it. When we lived in Atlanta full time we were the crazy people who headed up for the snow every time it was predicted. Don’t worry—we have road equipment and people keeping the roads clear for us. Enjoy the weather…it’s snowing again right now!

  1. Love all the pictures. The flower boxes with the greenery look neat with the snow sitting on them! So pretty and love that snow!
