Hello Fall!

Fall display
Every child would love this play house at Scotlyn Yard.

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year! We really see and feel the seasons change up here in the North Carolina mountains—the leaves glow in jewel tones, the air has a slight chill and sweaters and jackets rule your wardrobe. My new best friend this Fall is cashmere!

There are pumpkins, bales of hay and mums decorating every home and store. The Farmer’s Markets are stocked with apples, pumpkins and mums to enjoy. Local apple cider and hot chocolate take the chill off your bones and baking spices fill the air. Get those sweaters, gloves, jackets and new boots out and enjoy Fall in the mountains.

A lovely stone fireplace welcomes and warms.
cashmeres sweaters
Every girls dream—a wall of light cashmere sweaters at McCulley’s.
apple cider and bears
This hot apple cider will help start or end your day.
