This home is the perfect example of a renovation done right. Situated in the back of an older neighborhood this charming renovation just had to be a House Crush.
To begin, I am crushing over this entry! The brick wall and steps are set back form the street and include a gravel parking pad—great for entertaining. White and green are always calm and cooling…a great thing in the Island heat. A low white picket fence and green hedge create a formal and symmetrical entry leading up to the recessed glass entry door. The emphasis is on welcoming visitors with a dash of drama.
I was drawn to the side of the home where the charming walkway from the garage includes a light-filled breezeway with a small bench—so very welcoming. The home owner included a vine covered lattice trim to frame the bench and a scalloped white picket fence encloses the back garden adding even more charm.
Lush green landscaping surrounds the perfect trees flanking the home. Look a little closer at the front door and you will see the perfect puppy waiting to greet you…between a pair of topiary—and we all know I love topiary. Enjoy the tour!
