We are finally finished, well almost finished, with the Highlands cottage. We have planned, painted, planted and decorated for months now and it is finally on the market. We had our first open house, and the we have been crazy busy with showings. Get ready for Highlands cottage spam for a post or two. Have a look around and tell me what you think!
P.S. Mr. P has just added a stone fire pit in the back garden—going to pick out stone now. Click on the Highlands Properties link to have a look and schedule a showing.

Hi Lizzy,
Could you share with me who the artist is of the fishing painting in your House Crush No. 46 story, I would love to have something similar for our cabin.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer, It was purchased at Ann Jacobs art in Highlands for Father’s day. I will look up the artist for you when I go back to the cottage.

Sana, Thank you! Anyone can do the same thing in their own home. Just paint the walls white, add colorful furnishings and don’t forget the accessories—books, flowers, colorful pillows and small personal items to make it feel like home. Enjoy.
