Highlands Charming Cottage

cottage update
Wow! The entry looks great.

When do you see an almost hundred-year-old Highlands cottage with an open floor plan—rarely. This lovely home has an open plan and is light, bright and ready for mountain vacations. Original wood walls soar up from the front entry screened porch and make you feel like you are in a tree house. Wormy Chestnut walls, beams and doors are all original to the cottage. Huge native rhododendron and majestic trees fill the almost acre lot. Hosta, ferns, hydrangea and holly fill the low maintenance landscape. There are four porches and a fire pit for your outdoor fun—and all of this only a short walk from town or Mirror Lake. Have a look at the just-posted listing with Highlands Properties for a little mountain vacation of your own. More information about this delightful project of mine will be posted soon!
