House Crush—for sale soon!

brick and ivy house
Wow—arrive in style.

Friday is a House Crush day this week! Some of you will recognize this house from the Veranda article and cover—or from my previous photos. The home belongs to friends of mine and is high on the ‘Crush’ list. Flower beds overflowing with boxwood surround the front entry. Edged with stone and cobbles, the entry takes you through the most charming iron gates—sorry no photos because of the busy street.

I love the planters filled with agave that flank the drive and point you to the side gates and rear drive. Note to self: Find a home for agave this Spring! There is also an Orangerie on the back roof that overlooks the back garden and pool. The first time I saw the view from the Orangerie, I told Mr. P ‘this is what Heaven looks like.’

The really great news is that this House Crush is coming on the market next month! More on that and a link to the listing later. Enjoy this stunning ‘Crush.’
