Happy Friday! I thought a cute puppy was the perfect way to start the tour upstairs of this amazing House Crush. Puppies and velvet just seem to attract each other…at least at my house.
The upstairs has three bedrooms and three baths. The guest rooms are located off the open landing to the living room below. I love this plan with the master at one end and the guest at the other. A simple study with that beautiful view is located on the upper landing with a private deck to enjoy a little get-a-way—this whole house is the perfect get-a-way for me. The pine floors are painted a simple white and were inspired by the floors in the home owners Grandmother’s house. I always love a painted floor and lots of color.
Take a few of these ideas and incorporate them into your own home. Neutral walls, floors and upholstery are layered with colors to add warmth. Collections add interest and depth to the rooms. Antique beams, doors and knobs give the structure history and character. Add any of these to your home and see what a wonderful difference they can make. We can all learn from this talented designer. I have had a few questions about the builder—it was built by Futral Builders. The previous post can be seen outside here and inside here.

I’m hoping this house tour never ends. Can I say there is a distinctly
southern flavor to this home? I could move right in.
Thank you Victoria! I love everything about this house. It is a true House Crush!
