Weddings…what a wonderful way to spend the weekend. Destination, home, church, barn, garden or farm wedding—they all inspire hope and happiness. A farm in Madison, Georgia was the setting for this amazing wedding. My friends Randy and Dan were married after years of being together. I have posted many times about their wonderful store in Atlanta called Boxwoods. If you haven’t already shopped there you need to add it to your ‘must see‘ list. The guest first gathered at the Victorian farm house for a welcome then were instructed to head on down to the lake. The path lead through a floral arch and large tree bases were topped with gorgeous flower arrangements. Guest were seated on linen covered hay bells while a minister rowed to the little island in the lake. The grooms did not disappoint—they arrived on white horses across the lake and then rowed to the island! What an amazing and original way to arrive. The reception was in the garden and delighted all. Have a look at the festivities and enjoy.
