How to Warm up Your Porch!

How to enjoy the Winter porch
How to enjoy the view in Winter.

Winter is still lingering up here in the mountains. Snow, 75 mph winds and cold rainy days are still in the mix. What’s a girl to do? Decorate the porch, of course! How about some ‘warming’ retail therapy to get things started.

First I added snugly red plaid blankets trimmed with fringe from Francie Hargrove followed by a striped rug with a warm pad from Erika Reade to take care of those chilly toes. Next I threw my aqua pillows from Ballard Designs into the mix, as well as plenty of hurricanes and candles from C K Swan. The antique coffee table is also from C K Swan—it’s the perfect size (and hubby can put his feet up on it).

Now, it’s time to light the fire in the fireplace and add some hot chocolate and S’mores. A perfect Winter escape!
