Lemons of Friday

lemon trees in containers
Lemons are going strong on the patio—yes, that is a mountain in the background.

Who says you can’t grow citrus in the mountains … not me! I purchased this lovely little lemon tree in South Carolina and potted it on my back patio here in Cashiers.

Lucky eleven—we have eleven luscious lemons almost ready to pick. If you think you can’t grow something in your planting zone—put it in a pot! They can live in the garage all winter and go back on the patio in the Spring!

arching lemon tree
With an arching long branch you have little tree.

11 lemons
Eleven, yes eleven huge lemons.

lemon harvest
Almost ready for the harvest—definitely growing lemons next year.
