Never Met One I Didn’t Love…

stone walls
The stone is going up fast.

A stone wall that is—I am crazy for them. Mr. P accused me of buying a house one time to have the ancient 150 foot stone wall. That could really be true since the house needed everything under the sun and then some.

Stone is so classic and timeless. A stone wall can anchor your house or garden into the landscape. Walls can define an area, enclose a garden room, provide seating for entertaining, add privacy to an area or just look amazingly beautiful.

My wall and stairs will provide a level gardening area and transition to a lower garden and patio with a fire pit—every man wants a fire pit. Have a look at the progress in the garden so far.

The steps will lead to the fire pit and garden area.

I have already started planting—in pots.

The climbing hydrangea are already blooming!

stone walls
Stone, stone and more stone.

stucco walls
Stucco and paint are next.

  1. I couldn’t agree more, Lissy! Stone walls add instant charm to any home and yours is no exception. It looks amazing – can’t wait to see it finished! Happy Wednesday ~
