The last garden on the Mountains in Bloom tour is a garden surrounding a log cabin built of old beams and with an incredible mountain view. Jim Tate and Hank Ross designed the landscape using indigenous plants to blend the garden into the surrounding plants and trees. During the installation of the garden several natural springs were discovered and were diverted by the use of stone-lined stream beds.
The property is set up for entertaining friends and family. The design includes a large porch for football watching, game tables, pools, rope bridges and even a tree house! Enjoy the tour and maybe get a few ideas for your own garden.

Beautiful! Beautiful! The Blue Ridge and the Smokies. What’s not to love about North CArolina.
Lovely photographs and post.
