The title of this post should really be—Crush on it All! This incredibly charming patio, pavilion, garage and guest house is located at the home of Atlanta designer Beth Ervin. I have admired this home from afar for awhile now, but the pavilion porch addition connecting the existing garage to the house just threw me over the edge—I had to get in to see it! Luckily we have a mutual friend, designer Ann Dupre. A quick text provided access to my ‘Crush.’
The Pavilion houses a large dining area with grilling station and connects the house to the garage beautifully. It is all hidden from the street by manicured boxwood gardens and shuttered privacy walls. Little glimpses are available at the ends of the pavilion to entice you in. To my delight a little guest house is also attached to the end of this charming addition. I have been searching for a way to add extra accommodations in Cashiers and this is the perfect fit. I always seem to need just one more bed. My friend and architect Keven Hawkins came along to measure and photograph to use as a guide for my mountain house. Thank you Beth for the perfect inspiration to finish my renovation. Who am I kidding—finish is not in my vocabulary!

Oh my gosh I’m in love! What gorgeous grounds! That pavilion is to die for. Thank you for taking us along. It makes me rethink the use of boxwoods around here. 🙂
Kelly, It made me re-think my whole house! Good news is she has invited me back to see the inside!

Thanks for sharing this home Lissy. It is almost too charming for words to describe. Looking for to the interior in future posts.
Victoria, I can hardly wait myself.

I love the pavilion . Do you have a photo of the front of it?
Linda, This was the inspiration for my new porch. The front of the pavilion on the street side is the photo with the garage door open. The actual front facing the house is the next photo after that one—the large ‘A’ shaped roof. It is situated at the rear of the home near the street. Hope that helps.

Your pavilion is beyond gorgeous! Would you know what the name of product and manufacturer of the white louvered walls? That is the most unique look I have ever seen. Thank you!
Vicki, I don’t know the name of the louvered walls, but will be happy to ask the homeowner.
Check back for and update.
