I love chairs! You might even say I have a chair problem. I can always find a chair to love. It’s finding a place to put them that sometimes causes problems. But there is no problem finding a place for my new chairs—plural—that will be arriving soon.
I’ve been looking for the perfect chairs to use around the soiree blue dining table for months now. Some were too tall … some were too short … others were just too Lodge-tastic. We looked at upholstered ones, painted ones, stained ones … and they were all wrong.
Then, on the request for dining chairs by Mr. P., Keven Hawkins found the Linwood chair by Hickory Chair, part of the Susanne Kasler Collection. They are opened back with upholstered seats and painted any color your little heart desires—perfect.
Even more perfect was that Mr. Hawkins found them at a huge discount—bring on the chairs! They are upholstered in cream linen which is perfect for now—or very easy to change later. Hip-hurray I just got a text that they are being delivered. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Please tell me about yourself. I believe that you are a friend of Keven and also Alison. Are you a designer? If so I may have a few small projects for you.
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Lois
Lois, I am indeed a friend of Keven and Alison! I am now a blogger and renovator—Keven is my architect.

Chairs look comfortable for extended conversation.
Geometry of the backs could translate into painted floor!
You are so right! This pattern is also repeated in the stair rail and pot rack in the kitchen.

Nice! They look like you!
Ashley, Thanks—I love the Chinese Chippendale details in white.
