The Dog ate my Homework … Really!

My ‘Dream Team’ has been working away on the landscaping plan and building locations for the mountain house. Randy Korando and Dan Cleveland, from Boxwoods in Atlanta, have been walking the property and looking at every angle and incline on this little spot of mine.

Keven Hawkins has been reworking the old garage into a large pantry, a new laundry and best of all, an office and flower arranging area for me. I’ve never had my own area with all of these boys claiming study and work space for themselves.

The  preliminary ‘Master Plan’ was delivered with a warning—’this is the only copy, so be very careful with it.’  Guess what? Janie ate it! I was getting out of the shower when I heard a crinkling noise … Janie had climbed up a chair to see the plan. She loved it so much she decided to eat it. I did manage to find enough pieces to put some of it back together— except the back garden area, she ate the WHOLE back garden. Luckily I had taken a picture of it and was able to Photoshop it back into existence … with the help of my wonderful and brilliant editor. Take a look at the plan in progress.
