ow about another little house crush today? I noticed this charming stone and brick house a few years ago while looking for a house in the city. Mr. ‘P’ was very tired of spending hours commuting and said, “Find us a house inside the loop–even if it’s the size of a postage stamp.” For all of you not in Atlanta, inside the loop means inside I-285, the perimeter highway that circles Atlanta. I saw a “For Sale” sign in front of this Norman stone and brick house and called my friend Joanne to tell her about it … and she said “do not even go in it, because you will have to buy it, and your husband will kill you.” Her mother had been to see the listing and felt the same way. The iron work in the entire house includes hand-made flowers and cute bugs—every room was more beautiful than the next. She was right, I would have died over this house … and it was way over my budget. Oh well, I will just have to be content with a curbside view.
I think I must have a ‘thing’ for turrets this month.
