Runs in the Family

New house update. We now have a beautiful Dutch door leading to the kitchen–such a friendly way to enter a house. The stone pathway and stairs will be finished by the end of the day–so exciting. I love a kitchen entry, don’t you. Before the renovation there was no back entry to the house–just a small ugly window. What a difference a few days can make. I now have proof that this ‘house thing’ of mine definitely runs in the family. My brother is also building a house at Big Bay Lake in Mississippi. What do you think?

Back entry before–no door
Dutch Door Kitchen entry–love it!
Barn entry to Big Bay Lake–charming structure and planters
New porch overlooking the lake
Foundation going in–boat house to the right
Sunset view over Big Bay Lake–stunning

More later!
