My son always started his fundraising efforts with that phrase when he was trying to raise funds for the latest school fundraiser–oh, I miss those days. My friend Sally Johannessen of ‘Dovetail Antiques’ in Cashiers, North Carolina is selling these beautiful guinea feathers to raise money for the Forever Farm. The Farm is a rescue shelter for senior and special needs pets waiting for a new home. The feathers are donated on a regular, as fast as she can gather them, basis by the ever adorable Cindy Enderle, who has a home in the area. The feathers could be used to decorate a floral arrangement, arranged around a picture frame or mirror or simply put in a beautiful bowl or dish in your home. You might even wear them in your hair as Sally and the outrageously funny Leslie Jordan are doing here. All of the proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to the charity.
