emo days are finally underway—hurray! Here’s an update to show you the progress that’s taking place in the mountains. The fake stone walls and arched ceilings are leaving quickly thanks to the hydraulic jackhammers and man power on the premises today. When the real stone was removed from the fake fireplace with the ‘off center’ arch, there was no sign of the original wood burning fireplace. I wonder why someone removed it and put fake gas logs in its place? What did they do on cold winter evenings? What a shame to miss cocktails and snuggling by the fire. But at least I’m saving all of the real stone for future use in the garden!
The whole space is full of light and potential now. The new exterior paint color has gone up and the house recedes and blends beautifully into the landscape.
But wait, there’s more. Stay tuned for updates!
I love demolition and renovation–more later!

LOVE the paint color you chose for the exterior. Things already look a million times better, especially without all that faux stone. So fun to see the progress!
Thank you Virginia! Even the neighbors have stopped me to tell me they love it.
