Painted Floor—Love

Paint, paint and more paint—I said it before and I’ll say it again: I love a beautiful, painted floor. I found this floor in Cashiers, North Carolina, at the Cashiers Decorator Show House. The large diagonal stripes are charcoal gray on a rich cream colored floor—a wonderful combination. This simple design is so sophisticated and could be used in any room. The floor is an unexpected contrast to the original Log walls and just updates the room dramatically. The next time you decorate a room consider adding paint to the floors.

I love this color combination—I am using it in my own Kitchen
Log cabin Chic! I could move in tomorrow.

I love this house and the painted floors, so expect more on this home and of course MORE painted floors. Enjoy!
