Stop the car and grab a cart—time for a pumpkin haul. This little guy was in pumpkin patch heaven. This was my first visit to B.B. Barnes, but it won’t be my last. I only saw the pumpkins at first. Then I went inside and found a huge selection of dried flowers and house plants. Mr. P called me to come out back…plant heaven was in front of me. We left with 25 pumpkins, nine disease resistant boxwood, a box full of dried flowers and a few gardening supplies. The car was packed to the roof, but the little guy didn’t seem to mind. He was exhausted form all the excitement and fell fast to sleep on the way home. If you are in Asheville, remember to make a stop at BB Barnes...clean your car out first!
