This stunner is a House Crush ‘on the way’ in Savannah, Georgia. The historic home on the water was taken down to the studs—scaring most of the locals to death. As soon as I saw the sign announcing the project was being undertaken by Norman Askins I told my friends to relax—It will be a magnificent house and garden. Norman’s reputation is perfection personified…just have a look at his stunning book here..
Five Old Savannah brick chimneys really peak my interest and make me needing to get inside for a little peek. The house has doubled in size with the additions seeming to be added over time as the family expanded. Even the garage in the back looks like it was an original carriage house. I think there is a guest house area the looks like it was an original detached kitchen…It is perfection! I will keep you posted with my next trip to the Island—It is going to be a House Crush for sure.
